"In the journey of life there are no late arrivals"
For years I have heard that when you travel with a minor on a plane, you should put on the oxygen mask yourself first and then help other travelers. Many people use this reference, and the truth is that if we ever want to help someone, we need to find our mental, physical and spiritual health first. Seeking our best self is not selfish, on the contrary, it is an act of kindness towards humanity, towards all those around us and who come into contact with us. There is no deadline, we will get there when we get there, but everything we ever wanted already exists, nothing has to wait, peace and happiness are not found, they are created and adopted.

Finding Our Best Version Of Ourselves
"Self-care is not Self-ish"
We often feel pressured by time and external expectations. We are told that we must be more efficient, more successful and stronger. But in the midst of all this, what about ourselves? How can we help others if we are not well?
The metaphor of the oxygen mask on the plane is powerful. It reminds us that we must take care of ourselves first before we can help others. It is not selfish; it is a fundamental need. If we are not well, how can we expect to be available for others?
Our mental, physical and spiritual health are the foundations on which we build our life. If we neglect these aspects, our ability to help others is weakened. So let’s take the time to take care of ourselves. Let’s seek inner peace, mental clarity and physical strength.
"Silence the voices of judgement and comparison. Those of others and your own"
The Journey
There is no deadline to become our best version. It is a continuous journey, a constant quest for growth and self-discovery. Sometimes we will feel lost or discouraged, but that’s okay. We all have those moments.
The key is to remember that everything we ever wanted already exists within us. Peace, happiness and love are there waiting to be discovered. We do not need to look for them outside; we just need to look inside.
Creating Our Own Reality
"We need not wait for the message or the messenger, the truth has always been there."
Remember that all this wisdom has been available to us for thousands of years, waiting for us to fill our cup with it. Let’s not wait for the message or the messenger; let’s create our own daily message, the one that has no filters from others or from the original source, the one that speaks in our language and suits us. Let’s not follow the messengers who come and go. We have unlimited strength, unlimited potential, unlimited charity and unlimited empathy. Let’s keep looking and growing! No, better yet, let’s keep creating!
Please comment and share if any of this resonated with you and I appreciate hearing from others.
